State of AI 2024 SF launch event coming up 10 Oct

The State of AI Report analyses the most interesting developments in AI, across research, industry, politics, and safety. To mark the launch of this year’s report, we’ll be hosting a meet-up in SF featuring 150 members of the ecosystem. Along with an overview of highlights from the report, we’ll be talking to:

• Sholto Douglas, a research engineer at Google DeepMind, where he works on scaling Gemini;

• Joe Spisak and Sergey Edunov, product and engineering directors respectively at Meta, where they play leading roles across Meta’s open source AI work.

• …and a mystery fourth guest.
