40 slides (might be) all you need!
The State of AI Report is our annual open-access contribution to the AI community. This year, we held our first ever State of AI Report launch event in San Francisco, where we were joined by 100 key contributors from across industry, academia, and the investment worlds, along with speakers from Recursion, Meta, and Adept.
Unsurprisingly, after a very busy year, the report weighed in at 160 slides. It also contains some technical content that isn’t immediately accessible to people who don’t have an AI research background.
To kick things off in SF, I shared a few edited highlights from the report, which is a slightly broader and less detail-heavy version of the director’s cut I shared on Twitter/X.
In case it’s useful for anyone who doesn’t have the time or inclination to sift through the full report, here’s a version of the 40-slide highlights deck I presented.
Happy abbreviated reading :)
